“And how dare you touch my phone without my permission?!”

Jungkook froze, realising you might know about that night now… And possibly who gave you those flowers now.

An hour ago

You were done for the day as you closed down the shop. “Y/n?”. You froze and immediately turned at him warrily before speaking coldly “shop is closed if you're here to buy flowers for your wife”

Heesung took a step standing right in front of you “I'm not here to buy” He slowly pulled out a bouquet… of lilies and pink roses.Your favourite. “I remember… you always liked these two flowers together… you think they always make a good pair”

You took the flowers while staring at them. These flowers now give you nothing but a bitter taste of reality, especially from him. “I liked those because… you got me those on our first date.”

You sighed and avoided looking him in the eye “When you asked me if I even liked roses and lilies because you were nervous. That's when I realised…”

“Maybe these two flowers make a good pair. They belong together” You looked up at him “I was wrong. So wrong.” You said bitterly.

Heesung felt a lump in his throat, he held your hand tightly “so you like something else now? Does he bring you flowers? Are you HAPPY?!” he asks desperately.

You furrowed “what? “Your boyfriend or.. whatever. Jeon Jungkook?” You froze in shock.. “How do you know?” Heesung gulped, looking away in embarrassment. “Well.. I tried to reach you the other day.. Then this fella called me.. Welp I guess I deserved it”

You couldn't believe it. “Wait, what did he tell you?!” “nothing really… He was right—” “Just tell me what did he tell you!” Heesung sighed, nodding “Well… he just told me to stay away from you because you two live together and… in a relationship . I didn't know you preferred young guys Y/n…” Your face turned red in embarrassment and maybe because of his judgement you didn't know but you felt so angry at that bastard right now. “That's none of your business with whom I date! Got it?!Anyone is better than you at this point!!!” Heesung looked down in guilt “I know… you're right. But y/n do you really want a controlling man… With so many rumours and maybe lots of… history? Just because he's what? Rich?” Heesung did some digging about Jungkook and how famous he is among the ladies. You immediately felt stupid..

Technically he's right… You two weren't even dating… just sleep together. He had no right to interfere in your personal matters and especially claiming to be your boyfriend in front of your ex husband. You knew maybe he was trying to help you but still… You didn't like it.

You shoved heesung “well we had a huge history too didn't we? Look where we two are now. So the past means nothing! So go away!!”

Present

“You threatened heesung?!” You yelled. “Not exactly just told him to stay away from you angrily..” He muttered looking down. “Why?! It's none of your business alright?! And you told him we LIVE TOGETHER?! DATING!?” He muttered “Again not exactly..” You groaned in frustration. He scoffed “you should thank me!” “thank you for what exactly?! That I'm now going out with a man in his 20s!!”

“Why are you so worked up!? People date with age gaps no big deal” He rolled his eyes. You yelled angrily “because they actually date! And I don't go around telling your ladies that you're my boyfriend!”

Jungkook stood up in frustration “why the heck would you do that? And none of my ex is so crazy to come back to me after dumping me like yours!” You rolled your eyes “whatever happens with me and Heesung is none of your business Jungkook” You said firmly.

He froze and immediately stepped closer towering over you “wait a damn second. What do you mean by that?” He chuckled bitterly “So you wanted to let your ex husband think you're available huh? That's why you're all mad huh?”

Your eyes widened… Is that the reason really? “What are you saying—” “Or else what? You're embarrassed of me? Embarrassed to let your ex know you're dating me? What is it?” You froze, unable to answer…

He shaked his head in disbelief “ I can't believe you… you still crave that bastard's attention that you'll let him believe you're still lonely and on your own so he can hit on you isn't it? Are you that cheap for attention?” You instantly slapped him hard enough that his head turned. His jaw clenched, he slowly turned at you meeting your eyes.

He grabbed your wrists, roughly pinning you against the wall. “Then why do you sleep with me?! Why do you kiss me then?!” You struggled against his grip “let go! I never asked you to! You come yourself!” He stared at you in disbelief and slightly hurt “and I don't see you complaining! You scream loudly to not stop!” He gripped your chin making you look at him. “Just because I let you spread my legs that doesn't mean I’ll let you interfere in my life Jungkook” You yelled back.

He stared at you, a flicker of pain in his face but he immediately stepped back. You continued “I don’t need your help especially when your own past relationships were so messed up! What do you even know about love?” He felt tears forming in his eyes but he refused to let them fall…the words were true but it hurted more because it's coming from you…

“What do you have to offer other than money and body?But I had! I gave him my all! And maybe… I'd still die to give him…” He stared at you in disbelief, shock, hurt and pain.

He tried to love several times… but for him love and validation only came when he has provided the other person something in return. But that was never real love. Even though he knew that, the other person only saw him for the money and the body. That's what he can give then that's what he'll give.

He chuckled bitterly “give him all? Yea your dignity and self respect? Thanks for pointing that out y/n I'd never love to lose these two things to a person like you. Thanks for reminding me not to be like you” He said coldly before leaving abruptly.

You stood there…. No that's not what you wanted to say…What is wrong with you?! He was just trying to help you after all… Tears rolled down her face. You wanted to apologize but you had no guts.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was in his room. He regrets sharing his past to you now. If he had known you'd use that against him he probably would've never tried. He felt so seen and comfortable around you. And for once cared about. You took care of him when he was sick. How you always noticed first whenever he was upset even if it was a trivial matter… He hates himself for liking you…Or maybe much more… he feels a pang of hurt in his chest.

3 weeks later

It's been 3 weeks, the dynamics between you two have completely changed now. You two completely lead separate lifestyles. You've tried apologizing but he's indifferent now about it. Just like the same Jungkook you first saw after marrying his father. What hurt more is that he had started dating the girl Jansie again… Even brings her home sometimes. You hated it… but you didn't say anything. After all, it's for the best. The girl is pretty, kind and charming and belongs to the same family status as him.

But inside you were a wreck ... Your mixed feelings for Jungkook and the unforgotten love and hurt for Heesung. It's too much for you. You feel like the most terrible person ever. In order to heal yourself you hurted Jungkook, maybe even used him…

You came back home early today. As you opened the door you let out an involuntary scream seeing the sight in front of you. Jansie was on top of Jungkook, both of them were partially naked. Thankfully they weren't doing it yet. Jungkook froze immediately, his eyes met with yours.

You gulped you almost ended up tearing up right in front of them. You immediately looked away awkwardly“i- I'll go… continue you two” You immediately rushed out of the house tears rolled down your cheeks. Jansie wasn’t unaware of the tension between them. She was about to lean in to kiss him again. Jungkook immediately stopped her “put on your clothes” He looked away from her. Jansie pouted “what? Why?” “Not in the mood anymore… Just wrap it up” He puts her down on the couch buttoning his own shirt.

You kept walking straight without turning back, your face burnt with humiliation and embarrassment while tears rolled down your face feeling nothing but heartbroken and jealous. You stopped in front of your shop . The tears turned into sobs now… you ruined everything… your life is a mess.

Suddenly a hand tapped on your shoulder and you hopefully turned back wishing it was Jungkook… well it's Heesung. He looked worried “Y/n? Are you alright?” You kept sobbing while pushing him away “shut up! Why are you always here! I'll tell your wife if you don't stop!!!” Heesung sighed gently wiping your tears “I came here to pick up my daughter from the park…is everything alright? I'm sorry if it's because of me again please don't cry—” “YOU KNOW WHAT?! It is all because of me? I'm such a wrecked mess! I'm such a b-tch that I can't hold onto any man! Whether it's because of my womb or my heart! I'm a mess literally” You broke down into loud sobs .

Heesung couldn't understand but it's all because of him he knew. He felt his heart breaking seeing her cry like this… He stepped back but you pulled him back “where are you going! It's all your fault! Because of you I'm a mess!” Heesung tears up “I know…I'm sorry… y/n…I'm a terrible man.. Husband… Father everything” He cupped your face gently making you face him wiping your tears while his own tears continue to fall.

“This is my final goodbye to you Y/n. I promise… I'll never show up.. I want you to be happiest… with someone who makes you…that I couldn't be” You stared at him in shock…You felt your heart breaking but also a sense of acceptance… Final ending with Heesung.

“I loved you y/n” He gently lifts your chin and kisses you. Your body froze for a second but…You wrapped your arms around his neck kissing him back with the same passion… for the last time.

Jungkook came running looking for you. He went to your shop hoping to see you and confess. He broke up with Jansie. Seeing you almost break down broke something inside him too. He can't see you hurt and certainly he can't be with anyone else. He never touched Jansie until now when he was about to but you walked in. He was glad you did…

He stood there in shock.Heesung kissing you , while you kissed you kissed him back… your arms wrapped around his neck completely unbothered about the whole world.

The tears finally rolled down his cheeks.
